Lori lost her job when the company she worked for went out of business. Her best friend, Kim, recently lost her father and is now looking in on her mother, who is struggling with living alone after all these years.
Kim's husband, Bill, is retiring next year after working for the same company for the last 20 years and their daughter, Regina, graduated from college a year ago and got a job that isn't turning out to be as good as she thought it was when she started. Regina's boyfriend, Scott, on the other hand, is in the exciting, but stressful, first years of owning his own business.
Sounds like a reality show, doesn't it? Maybe it sounds a lot like your reality? If only life came with commercial breaks or DVR controls so you could step away for a minute and regroup!

When we experience big change events, and we all experience them - some by choice, some by chance - they bring on unexpected challenges, new decisions, and the inevitable feelings of fear or uncertainty that accompanies even the best of transitions. Change can also feel very lonely, like you are carrying the burden all on your own and, too often, we are!

A Note from Alicia
Throughout my life and career, I have enjoyed and, truthfully, sometimes hated many of my own personal and professional transitions. Change can be fantastic but it can also be hard - as you probably know. All of my personal experience has given me deep insight (and a sense of humor!) about the loss and recovery of passion and purpose that occurs inside change and I take that into my coaching work.
I have personally applied the wisdom and resources that I now offer to you through The Planning For Change Workshop and I hope you will allow me to help you with your life and career changes.
